AquaGib reverse osmosis plants which GBC understands are responsible for the supply of around 70 percent of Gibraltar's potable water have not been at risk from the fire still raging in a tunnel on the East Side of the Rock, according to a statement from the Fire and Rescue Service.
GBC has however not been able to establish whether the facility is currently operational. We understand engineers have been unable to access them.
