This is a compilation of random clips that I have from railfanning along the UP Mojave Sub, or the Tehachapi Pass. There are quite a few goodies in this video with lots of foreign power. The first two clips are of my buddy at the throttle, finishing the run from Needles the night before. Then, a southbound BNSF grain train emerged with BNSF 4729, the "Frankenbonnet," on point with a Ferromex in tow. Then, there was a southbound BNSF manifest that came down to Bena with a warbonnet, BNSF 761, a GP60M, BNSF 130, a Norfolk Southern, NS 4786, and a H1 on the rear, BNSF 963. Next, a different southbound BNSF grain train rounds the horseshoe curve at Caliente with KCS 4854 in tow. Behind that was a southbound UP manifest that a Southern Pacific in the consist. SP (UP) 6379 was originally leading the train, but then encountered some mechanical problems where a couple rescue locomotives coupled up to save the day. The last clip is a CP ACU, CP 7057, leading a northbound BNSF grain train through Woodford. There was also a KCS trailing as well as a KCS as a mid-DPU, too. Other than that, enjoy the rest of the trains!
Thanks for watching! 👍🏼
