Описание: Tehachapi (Mojave Sub) w/meets galore in 4k - stalled train - Fall 2025 - Manifests & intermodals. It was quite a day out here. I figured that since this was the second day after the derailment at Marcel was cleared that there would be a good amount of traffic, but nothing like the previous day. Due to UP 6567 east stalling out a few times (I posted in shorts about it's adventure), it made for another epic day. UP 6567 east first stalled out between the switches at Caliente and Bealville, which tied up the mainline for a little bit of time (the MU cables were not fully connected between the second and third unit is what the engineer reported to the dispatcher. The second time that UP 6567 east stalled out (I think around Woodford), the conductor found approximately ten cars with their angle cocks closed. The third and final time that UP 6567 east stalled out was just west of the west switch at Cable, which tied up the mainline once again. Since the train was ascending up to the summit located at Monolith, the train would need some extra horsepower. BNSF has three locomotives on their sub between Mojave and Barstow that they use for local industries. While the three BNSF locomotives were traveling to the come to the rescue, UP 6567 east had to shove back all the way west to Marcel to allow traffic to pass around them. BNSF had to come to the UP train's rescue and come from about 15-20 miles east of Mojave all the way past the east switch at Marcel to attach on to the front of UP 6567 east to get it up and over the hill (eastbound).
