As well as his own compositions, Tim Knight publishes music by other composers. This is the second in a set of three pieces for manuals only, all of which can be played on one manual instruments such that they can be played on all organs. Music for manuals only can sometimes feel to be lacking, but these three pieces are all fine additions to the repertoire, with or without the use of pedals!

This recording was made on a Johannus Live III AGO organ, using the sample of the fine Hill organ in the church of the Holy Name, opposite the University of Manchester on Oxford Road, Manchester. The sample sets can be heard from four positions: console, front of the church, centre of the church, rear of the church. This recording uses the rear of the church position.
