After Pakistan's airstrikes on Kabul, Kandahar, Paktika, Paktia, Khost and other areas inside Afghanistan, the Afghan Taliban have claimed retaliation in Pakistan's capital Islamabad. Tensions between the two countries have further increased. Reports of att@-acks and drone flights have also emerged from the cities of Kohat, Risalpur in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Taxila in Punjab and Quetta, the capital of Balochistan. The Pakistani government has announced an investigation after shooting down drones in Rawalpindi and Islamabad. On the other hand, after a major att@-ack on Lakki Marwat police, the CTD has conducted an intelligence-based operation against militants in the Gambila area, while after the loss of lives of 7 police personnel including the SHO, the situation in Lakki Marwat is extremely tense. The local police have started a protest and have closed the entry and exit routes of Lakki Marwat, i.e. the main highways.
