Does your palette work with you or against you? Could it be that your pigments aren't strong enough because the brand you're using is actually student grade (and full of fillers not pigment)? Or maybe you have far too many pigments on your palette and don't know how to manage all of them?
In today's video I am sharing all about oil paints: my favorite brands (and why), the ins and outs of paint (how do I know it's transparent? What does that even mean?) and my PERSONAL palette.
What's your favorite brand of oil paints? Do you have a personal favorite pigment? I've always been curious about a stack white but have yet to experiment. Share your thoughts below!
NOTE: One brand left unmentioned in this video is Sennelier, a french brand known for making a wide array of very vibrant pigments. A staple on my palette is Sennelier's King's Blue. It is very pigmented, but also thick and dries quickly, so I am sure to only squeeze a little out on my palette during a painting session so as to avoid waste.
