Three top brands of oil paint that have no or low odor are analyzed for odor, transparency, drying times, and texture retention. The water-mixable brand also undergoes a water test. I test five of the most used colors including titanium white, yellow ochre, ultramarine blue, and burnt sienna...and later zinc white. Also tested is the drying time of Royal Talens's Cobra water mixable oil paint medium (regular).
