Rhinog Fach from Barmouth

Around two and a half to three years ago I embarked on a 20 mile walk from Talsarnau to Barmouth going over the two Rhinogs on the northwest side of Wales. However, I discovered that it was a pretty tough walk and I only got as far as Rhinog Fawr (see the video • Rhinog Fawr - where's the path ? )
Finally I have managed to complete the walk.
This time I started from Barmouth and walked over several peaks to get to Rhinog Fach. I did it with my friend Micky on a very hot day when the country was suffering from a heat wave. It made for a pretty tough walk and adding together all the walking we did through out the day, it was between 19 and 20 miles in total. Longer than I had anticipated, by the time we were back at our camp site we were knackered !
It was definitely worth the aching legs, there were stunning views and I was so happy to have finally completed the walk. Even if it was not in the way I had originally intended.
