Namaste beautiful yogis!
This 60-minute Vinyasa class is geared towards advanced beginners, intermediate students. We start with a nice dynamic warm-up wth some hip and shoulder opening, a few Sun Salutations A (always with the option to bring the knees on the floor), a juicy standing sequence with some balancing poses (Warrior 3 and variation, Hand-to-Big-Toe pose), and a nice 1/2 bind Warrior sequence, among other things.
Our peak pose is Mermaid? It's also called Eka Pada Rajakapotasana, it's actually a variation of King Pigeon Pose. Please don't worry if you can't get into the full expression of it today, there are steps you can take towards it, and remember Yoga is a practice, not a performance.
All you have to do is show up. Make the decision to take care of yourself and you'll have more energy, you'll become more patient, and your outlook on life will become more positive.
Remember to be mindful in your practice. If something feels wrong, then it is wrong. Take a break, rest in child's pose and carry on.
