Let’s start the recipe!
INGREDIENTS
For Dough:
All-purpose flour – 3 cups
Salt – 1 tsp
Ghee – 2 tbsp
Water – 1 cup + 2 tbsp / as needed
For Qeema Filling:
Oil – 2 tbsp
Minced beef or chicken – 1 kg
Onion (finely chopped) – 1 cup
Garlic paste – 1 tbsp
Ginger paste – 1 tsp
Green chilies – 2 tbsp (chopped)
Chili flakes – 1 tsp
Turmeric powder – ½ tsp
Roasted coriander – 1 tbsp
Roasted cumin – 1 tsp
Salt – 1 tsp to taste
Oil – ½ cup
Ghee filling
Baking powder –1 tsp
Corn flour – 3 tbsp
Melted ghee – ¼ cup
METHOD:
In a bowl, mix flour, ghee, and salt.Rub well and knead into a medium-soft dough. Cover and rest for 20 minutes.
Heat oil in a pan. Add ginger garlic paste and green chilies.
Add qeema and cook on medium flame until water dries.Now add all spices and mix well.
Let the filling cool completely.
Make small balls from dough, flatten, add qeema filling and seal properly.
Deep fry on low to medium flame until golden and crispy.
Your crispy street-style Qeema Kachori is ready!Serve hot with chutney or raita and enjoy.
