This video was requested from one of my followers on Instagram and it was such an interesting video to watch on 1950's weight loss and advice on how to lose weight. I was really shocked at how it was an equal combination of bad weight loss advice and solid scientific weight loss tips.
Right off the bat they mention a calorie deficit (calorie deficit diet) and they also bring up quite a few interesting points that I did agree with. But so much of the way they talk about obesity and overweight in this video was so cringe. And the whole video is basically a summary of a weight loss experiment they did on college students.
Weight reduction is something that people have been struggling with for decades but it's interesting to see that the general concepts of accurate weight loss science hasn't changed. Everyone today is looking for secret tips to lose weight or weight loss hacks, but most would benefit from going back to basics.
