Lord, You alone know your nature;
Nobody else knows
Whoever you bestow your mercy
That person comes to know you.
I surrender before your lover-saints
Your dwelling place is forever charming
Your colors (manifestations) are unfathomable.
I surrender to your lover-sages.
Your service is done by You
There is NO other doer.
You are pleased with that lover-saint
whom you have colored in your color.
I surrender to your lover-saints.
You are the greatest giver, and the greatest gift
There is none else.
You are the perfect, omniscient Lord of mine.
Yet I don't know how to worship you.
Your dwelling place is invisible, my beloved
And your will is supreme.
Nanak says, I have fallen at your doors
Keep me and free me from ignorance.
I surrender before your lover-saints.
