All desires are extinguished (are put out) by Lord's True Naam.
Great peace and contentment come by Guru's words,
when one's meditation on the Lord is perfected.
Please shower your great mercy upon me, and permit me
to ignore the many illusory enticements of Maya, O Lord,
merciful to the meek.
All desires, powers, pleasure, joy and lasting bliss are in Lord's Holy Naam and in Lord's praises.
That humble servant of the Lord, who has such Karma pre-ordained by the Supreme Creator, Nanak says, his efforts are brought to perfect fruition.
All desires are extinguished by the power of Lord's Holy Naam.
