Ingredients:
1 pound ground beef
1 tablespoon minced ginger-garlic
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon coriander powder
1/2 teaspoon black pepper powder
1/2 teaspoon cumin powder
1/2 teaspoon red chili powder
2 tomatoes
1 teaspoon garam masala powder
1/2-inch julienned ginger
Fresh cilantro
Recipe:
1. Heat some oil in a pot and add the ground beef. Fry it for a few minutes until it changes color.
2. Add salt and cook until the beef is fully cooked.
3. Add the minced ginger-garlic and cook for 2-3 minutes.
4. Cut the tomatoes in half and add them to the pot, skin side up.
5. Add a little bit of water and cover the pot. Cook for a few minutes until the tomatoes are soft.
6. Remove the tomato skins and mash the tomatoes.
7. Add the coriander powder, cumin seed powder, and red chili powder to the pot. Cook for 3-5 minutes.
8. Cover the pot and cook for 7-10 minutes.
9. Uncover the pot and add 1/3 cup of water.
10. Add the black pepper powder, garam masala powder, and julienned ginger to the pot.
11. Cover the pot and cook for a few minutes on low heat.
12. Sprinkle the fresh cilantro on top and cover the pot for a few more minutes.
13. Serve and enjoy.
