Ingredients:
Whole chicken
1 onion
1 tablespoon minced ginger-garlic
2-3 tablespoons Malka murgh cholay masala
3 tomatoes
1 can chickpeas
Kasuri methi
Fresh cilantro
Recipe:
1. Fry the onion until it turns light golden brown.
2. Add the whole chicken and fry it for a few minutes.
3. Add the minced ginger-garlic and fry it for another 2-3 minutes.
4. Add 2 tablespoons of Malka murgh cholay masala and mix well.
5. Add the tomatoes and cook them for 15-20 minutes.
6. If needed, add warm water to the mixture.
7. After frying, add 1/4 cup of water, cover the pot, and cook it for 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally.
8. Add the canned chickpeas and mix well.
9. Add water to the mixture and cover the pot again.
10. Cook the dish on medium heat for 10 minutes.
11. Sprinkle kasuri methi and fresh cilantro on top of the dish.
12. Cover the pot and cook the dish for a few more minutes on low heat.
13. Serve the dish hot and enjoy.
