Keto Taco Salad with Homemade Taco Seasoning!

Описание: Hey ya'll! This episode features my other favorite keto salad that helped me shed the pounds and kept me FULL all day! I also show you how to whip up your own homemade taco seasoning. Feel free to use as little or as much as you wish of the crushed red pepper flakes and black pepper. Also, remember the seasoning can be pre- measured and stored away for later. This recipe is enough for one pound of ground beef or ground turkey.

Homemade Taco Seasoning:

1 tablespoon chili powder
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon onion powder
1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
1/4 teaspoon dried oregano
1/2 teaspoon paprika
1 and 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon black pepper

1. Brown 1 lb of ground beef or ground turkey. Use 80/20 lean to fat ratio type. Don't drain all the fat off. The fat can be used as a binding agent for the seasoning. Use grass-fed beef if at all possible.

2. Add seasoning and remove from heat. Stir to combine well and serve over chopped leafy greens with your favorite taco toppings that are keto-approved. Try to always include the potassium rich avocados on this salad. The intense flavors help to mask the bland taste of avocados. We tend to need extra potassium on keto. Top with low carb salsa without added sugar and full fat sour cream and enjoy!

3. Don't forget you can pre-measure taco seasoning and place in a ziploc bag or Mason jars for future use.
