Hello and thank you for visiting my YouTube channel - Yoga with Kate.
Today’s practice will be a full body yoga warm up suitable for beginners to advanced. Warming up your body before taking part in any exercise is crucial not only in avoiding injuries but also allows you more flexibility and better performance. This is especially true in yoga.
This practice will warm up your whole body, focusing on the main areas – spine, glutes, hamstrings, shoulders, abdominals, biceps etc.
I would strongly advise you complete this short warm up before participating in any of my other classes.
I will be posting subsequent videos which will follow on from this warm ups shortly. These warm ups in themselves are yoga postures and can be done daily as a small class for flexibility and strength.
