This video captures our unforgettable trip to The Wave in Arizona. While the hike itself is timeless and still just as breathtaking today, this trip took place in 2020—and it became far more intense than we ever could have imagined.

The night before our big hike, at 3:00 AM, the house we were staying in caught fire and burned to the ground. We were incredibly lucky to escape with our lives, getting out just in time before the fire completely destroyed the home. What was supposed to be a quiet night of rest turned into a moment that put everything into perspective.

Just hours later, still shaken but deeply grateful to be alive, we went on to hike The Wave. Standing there, surrounded by something so ancient and beautiful, felt even more meaningful after what we had just been through.

This video isn’t just about an iconic hike—it’s about resilience, gratitude, and how quickly life can change. We’re thankful every day that we made it out safely and were still able to experience this incredible place.
