Last week I made a post on Instagram about why my bread is different than storebought and what you can find from many bakeries due to a number of factors: the fermentation process, the fact that it's true sourdough, and the fact that I use a lot of freshly milled flour in my recipes! My husband had the audacity to say "You need to work harder, Hannah. Sourdough is so easy, anyone can do it." So I challenged him to make my beginner sourdough bread recipe without any help for the first time!
