In May 2018 Counterpoint Arts and The Art House (Wakefield) collaborated on a Tate Exchange project. The result was a presentation of both organisations creative work with Asylum Seekers and Refugees.
In this video, explore the experience of Hamid Reza Yavari Shoer as a studio holder at The Art House in Wakefield. Hamid was the first person to receive a studio as part of the Studio of Sanctuary programme. He has since gone on to forge collaborations with a number of fellow studio holders.
One such collaborator, fashion designer Helen O'Sullivan, also features in the video, talking about working with Hamid.
