How do you belong without shrinking — and be yourself without isolation?
This gentle Mid Week Exhale explores the paradox of community and individuality through breath, silence, and nature.
In this nourishing breathwork session, Marie and Sharyn guide you through a journey titled One of Many, One of a Kind. Using four distinct breath styles, periods of silence, and birdsong, you are invited to explore emergence, belonging, and uniqueness in a way that feels safe, slow, and deeply respectful of your nervous system.
The session begins with simple breath awareness, likened to a bulb slowly stirring beneath frozen ground — a quiet emergence without pressure or force. From there, gentle movement is introduced, imagining yourself as part of a collective of snowdrops, swaying together in the wind, held by the safety of the crowd.
You are then guided into an extended exhale, supporting regulation while turning inward to notice your own unique rhythm, timing, and gifts — remembering your voice, your presence, and what would be lost if you were not here. The session closes with coherence (balanced) breathing, bringing together belonging and individuality, showing how both truths can be held at once.
Throughout, you are reminded that comfort is the priority, that all invitations are optional, and that returning to your natural breath is always available. Silence and birdsong are woven throughout as medicine, supporting integration, reflection, and nervous system balance.
