A gentle invitation into balance, breath, and stillness.
This guided closing supports the nervous system through coherence breathing and silence.
In this final segment, you are guided into coherence (balanced) breathing, where the inhale and exhale are brought to the same length. You are invited to find a count that feels right for you — whether that’s four, five, three, or another rhythm entirely — or to allow the body to naturally balance the breath without counting at all.
The practice offers several supportive options, including counting internally, using the hands to guide the breath, or simply setting an intention and letting the body do the work. As the breath gently deepens, you are encouraged to notice what feels supportive in the moment, adjusting the count if needed and keeping the inhale and exhale soft, steady, and nourishing.
As the practice unfolds, the structure gradually falls away, allowing the breath pattern to dissolve into effortless balance. This leads into a spacious silent reflection, accompanied by birdsong, offering time to notice how it felt to breathe deeply and how the body responds after being gently nurtured.
The session closes with an invitation to reflect on the journey of the evening and to acknowledge the impact of forty minutes of conscious breathing and rest.
