About This Walk / この散歩について

This is a quiet walk through Tojuin Tamon-ji,
a small neighborhood temple in Kawasaki.

ここは川崎にある、
小さな地域の寺院・東樹院多聞寺です。

Tucked among homes and narrow streets,
it’s a place quietly cared for through generations.

住宅に囲まれたこの寺は、
代々大切に守られてきました。

The garden and trees show that care—
some have stood here for centuries.

庭や木々にはその年月が感じられ、
中には数百年を生きる木もあります。

I came to see the statue of Kobo Daishi
and spend a moment beneath the vermilion roof.

弘法大師の像を訪ね、
朱色の瓦屋根の下で静かな時間を過ごしました。
