About This Walk / この散歩について

This morning walk takes place at Keigenji, on a clear winter day in Setagaya.
冬の澄んだ朝、世田谷にある慶元寺をゆっくり歩きます。

The air feels light, and the grounds feel open and shared.
空気は軽く、境内には自然な広がりを感じます。

As the walk begins, everyday sounds drift through the space.
歩き始めると、日常の音が静かに混ざってきます。

Children nearby, movement in the distance, and the temple continuing as it always has.
近くの子どもたちの気配や遠くの動きが、この場所の日常を伝えています。

Toward the end of the walk, a tall three-story pagoda appears beyond the trees and stone markers.
散歩の終わりには、木々と石塔の向こうに三重塔が静かに現れます。
