This session, we’re focusing on scapular mobility, deep neck release, and gentle chest opening to restore freedom through the upper body. If your shoulders feel heavy, your neck feels compressed, or your upper traps constantly hold tension, this practice is for you.
When the shoulder blades become stiff and the chest tightens, circulation and lymphatic flow around the neck and face can slow down. By improving movement through the scapula, releasing fascia around the chest and upper traps, and coordinating eye, neck, and shoulder movement, we encourage better fluid movement through the tissues. Many people finish this type of work feeling lighter in the shoulders, longer through the neck, and even less puffy through the face.
We’ll begin with right-side chest massage combined with gentle nose rotations to mobilize both fascia and cervical spine. Then we’ll release the chest through arm work and add eye-tracking to improve neuromuscular coordination. From there, we’ll target the upper trapezius with controlled shoulder elevations and cross-neck movement to reduce gripping.
We’ll repeat the sequence on the left side to create balance, then move into spinal rounding, back-of-neck stretching, and cervical lateral waves to restore fluidity through the entire neck. Finally, we’ll finish with a gentle stretch to integrate the work.
Move slowly. Let the breath guide the motion.By the end, your shoulders should feel lighter, your neck longer, and your upper body more open and refreshed.
