This practice is a gentle stretch designed to open the chest, deepen your breath, relax the shoulders, and release tension from the lower back.
This session is all about shifting the body into rest-and-digest mode — calming the nervous system, improving oxygen flow, and helping you feel more grounded and supported. You can use this as a morning routine to energize your body with fuller breathing and better posture, or as an evening wind-down to prepare for deeper, more restorative sleep.
We’ll begin with diaphragmatic breathing in a prone position to reconnect with the natural rhythm of your breath. From there, we’ll gently elevate and open the front of the chest through soft backbends like Cobra, followed by lateral stretches to create space through the rib cage and improve lung expansion.
As we move into Cat–Cow waves and spinal shifts, you’ll mobilize the spine and encourage fluid movement between the shoulders and hips. Twists and flowing spinal patterns will help release stored tension in the lower back while continuing to open the heart space.
We’ll finish with Child’s Pose, seated twists, and deep diaphragm breathing to anchor the relaxation response and leave you feeling open, calm, and restored.
Move slowly, breathe deeply, and allow your body to soften with each exhale. This is your time to reset — physically and mentally.
