Описание: One of the most infamously ruthless Roman emperors was Nero Claudius Caesar Augustus Germanicus (Nero), being most well known for his cruel treatment of Christians, having many burned at the stake for their faith. Some Christians to this day believe that Nero was the anti-christ. But he is also known for the murder of his own mother, Agrippina. Throughout the first half of his reign, he took advice from his mother on how to rule, but in the year 59, he arranged for a ship carrying her to be deliberately shipwrecked, when she survived this, Nero sent the commander of the Roman fleet, Anicetus to assassinate her. Her death was marked as a suicide, but this fooled few people, with Roman historians writing the truth less than half a century after the events took place.
