This is it — the final hunt from my England trip, and what a day it was!
I spent the day detecting between Etton and Helpston, and the finds came fast: multiple Roman coins, a beautiful hammered coin, a bale seal, and even a few mystery relics. The weather wasn’t on my side, but that’s all part of the adventure — mud, rain, and pure excitement every time something ancient comes out of the ground.
One of my favorite moments? Dropping my XP Deus II control box mid-hunt, finding it again by luck, and then pulling a Roman coin right next to it. Sometimes treasure hunting really feels guided by fate.
This trip has been nothing short of transformative. The people, the history, and the experience of pulling up 1,800-year-old coins from the English soil — it’s something I’ll never forget.
