In the 1953 animated short *Jerry and Jumbo*, a baby elephant named Jumbo accidentally falls off a circus train and lands in Tom and Jerry's home. Seeking refuge, Jumbo hides under Tom's blanket as the cat settles in for the night. Unaware, Tom rolls over, nearly squashing Jumbo, but the elephant cleverly avoids detection. The next morning, Jumbo uses his trunk to drink Tom's milk from a distance, leading Tom to mistakenly blame Jerry. To escape Tom's wrath, Jerry paints Jumbo to resemble a giant mouse, and the two friends continue to outwit the befuddled cat. The situation escalates when Jumbo's mother arrives, and both elephants disguise themselves as mice, culminating in a chaotic and humorous finale.
