In The Duck Doctor (1952), Tom shoots a migrating wild duckling’s wing and leaves it injured. Jerry teams up with the weak bird, bandages its wing, makes a sling, and hides it from Tom while it tries repeatedly to fly back to its flock. The short is directed by William Hanna and Joseph Barbera, produced by Fred Quimby, with music by Scott Bradley. Released February 16, 1952.
