I started the Autoimmune Protocol (AIP) diet — here’s what happened in Week One.
The AIP diet is a strict elimination diet designed to reduce inflammation and support autoimmune conditions. Whilst I recognise I do not have a chronic illness, I have been suffering from certain symptoms for the past year and a half and have tried to change my lifestyle a number of ways to improve this but with little no luck. Therefore, I personally chose to try the AIP diet to see if that would help identify if there are any key triggers in my diet.
In this video, I document an introduction and my first 5 days: meals, symptoms, energy levels, cravings, and what I learned.
