I didn’t think alcohol was a problem for me—even with bipolar disorder.
But every time I drank, my sleep suffered. And when my sleep suffered, bipolar symptoms usually followed.
In this video, I’m talking about my experience with alcohol and bipolar disorder, the destructive pattern that took years to admit to myself, and why I stopped drinking.
I’m not telling anyone what to do. This is just my lived experience with trying to have fun with friends but more importantly, staying stable with bipolar disorder.
