In this video, come with me on a solo trip from my home in Pittsburgh to my past home, Washington, DC, while trying to avoid hypomania—my go-to bipolar episode resulting from travel.
Before even stepping foot in Pittsburgh International Airport, I was losing sleep and then continued throughout and after getting back home.
At the end of the video, I reflect on how I’m feeling 5 days after the trip and the lessons I learned about myself.
