Описание: These Special Studies for the Left Hand, Op. 75 (Études spéciales pour la main gauche), are rather unknown today but are very well-written. Each of the 12 short studies from this set focuses on a specific aspect of left hand playing.

This beautiful little etude deals with voicing, pedaling, and creating even broken-chord accompaniment waves in a spread, open-hand position.

Théodore Lack (1846-1921) was a French Romantic Era pianist and composer. He studied at the Paris Conservatory under the well-known Antoine François Marmontel, who taught many of the most influential French pianists and composers of the late Romantic Era and early 20th Century. After graduating in 1864, he was appointed a piano instructor at the Paris Conservatory, where he taught for many years. Today he is widely unknown, but his shorter salon-style pieces were very popular in his day.
