Hello everyone! As always, I would like to share a short story about my connection with this wonderful melody and the path we have taken together.

I first heard this piece many years ago on YouTube. The performance itself was nothing special, but I immediately felt how beautiful the music was and how deeply it touched the soul. Over time, I decided to create my own edition of this piece by an unknown French composer. In some way, it reminds me of the well-known middle section of Handel’s Passacaglia.

In my edition, I added comfortable fingering, pedal marks, dynamics, articulations, and several tempo indications. The melody itself is not very difficult. The most important thing is to use the correct fingering so that the passagework feels natural. If you do that, the small jumps to the bass won’t cause any problems.
