Burgmüller - Etude Op. 105 No. 6 "L'heure du soir"

Описание: This etude deals primarily with 4-3-2-1 right hand repeated notes, and octave tremolos. Both repeated notes and tremolos should remain rhythmic and clear throughout, never losing their rhythmic integrity.

Performer's note: On an upright piano the speed of the key repetition will be limited. This is the fastest I was able to play this piece while trying to retain the clarity of the repeated notes (although some repetitions are still not clear). On a grand piano with a double-escapement action, the key will be able to repeat much faster, and allow for even faster repeated notes.

Johann Friedrich Burgmüller (1806–1874) was a Romantic-era German composer and pianist, primarily known for his pedagogical piano works, most notably his 25 Easy and Progressive Studies Op. 100, which are considered a staple of the piano teaching literature to this day.
