Boneless chicken pieces - 500 gms
Onion chopped - 2 medium
Ginger garlic crushed/paste - 1 tablespoon
Chopped tomatoes - 2 medium
Turmeric - 1/4 teaspoon
Chilli powder - 1.5 teaspoon
Coriander powder - 1 tablespoon
Pepper powder - half teaspoon
Cumin powder - 1/4 teaspoon
Chicken masala /garam masala - 1 tablespoon
Yogurt - 4 tablespoons
Fresh cream - 2 tablespoons
Hot water - 1 cup
Kasuri methi crushed - 1 teaspoon
Salt - 1 teaspoon
Oil- 4 tablespoons
Chopped green chillies and coriander leaves for garnishing
Heat oil in a pan and add chopped onions. Fry till golden on medium heat.
Add chicken pieces and fry for5-6 minutes on medium flame.
Add ginger garlic crushed/paste and fry till raw smell is gone.
Add chopped tomatoes and fry till oil separates.
Add turmeric, chilli powder, coriander powder, pepper powder, cumin powder , chicken masala powder and salt . Mix well.
Keep the flame on low and add yogurt. Mix well and fry till oil separates.
Add hot water and mix well.
Cover and cook on low flame for 30 minutes.
Open lid and taste check for salt. Add more if needed.
Add fresh cream and kasuri methi. Mix well.
Garnish with chopped green chillies and coriander leaves. Serve hot with Rice/Roti/Naan. Enjoy!
