In 2023, I traveled through New Zealand with my sister, cousin, and grandma and visited the famous Waitomo Glowworm Caves. We took the classic boat tour, floating through a limestone cave lit by bioluminescent glowworms — and I share my honest thoughts on whether it lived up to the hype.
After the caves, my sister and I attempted the Ruakuri Bushwalk, which turned into an unexpected adventure involving hills, cow pastures, and an electric fence. Once we found the actual trail entrance, it ended up being a beautiful and highly recommended walk.
