A record of our boating life in August and September 2025, when we were unable to cruise due to lack of rainfall and very low water levels in the Macclesfield and Peak Forest Canals. Sections of the canals were stop-planked off to conserve water in certain areas, but in other areas, the levels continued to decrease.
Instead of travelling, we got up to plenty of other activities while we waited for the levels in the canals and reservoirs to increase again. Includes footage of the state of the canals and reservoirs over the summer.
