QUICK BHINDI PYAAZ | BHINDI PYAAZ FRY | BHINDI PYAAZ FRY RECIPE | OKRA ONION FRY | LADY'S FINGER AND ONION FRY | PACHAMAALA FOOD TRAILS
Bhindi/ Okra/ Lady's finger - cut and slit into 1 inch pieces - 250 gms
Onion, sliced - 2 large
Green Chillies, cut into 1 inch pieces - 2
Salt- 1/2 tsp
Oil- 4 tbsp
Tempering:
Mustard Seeds - 1/2 tsp
Curry Leaves - 10 to 12
(Tsp-Teaspoon; Tbsp-Tablespoon)
Preparation:
Cut the bhindi into 1 inch pieces and slit them in halves.
Peel and slices the onions.
Cut the green chillies and slit them.
Process:
Heat oil in a kadai or pan and add the mustard seeds and then the curry leaves. Give it a stir and add the onions
Give a mix and fry it on medium heat for around 2 mins.
Now add the bhindi and slowly saute' for 2 mins on medium heat.
Cover and cook on low flame for 4 mins
Open the lid, give it a mix and all salt
Cook on low heat for another 4 min mixing it often until cooked and fried.
Serve with roti or rice and dhal
