A 57 year old security guard is expected to appear in court following the killing of a teenage boy during violent shutdown protests in Mangaung in Bloemfontein. It is alleged that a group of protesters went to attack a Warehouse in Dr Belcher road in Bloemfontein. The security guard who was alone at the time, allegedly fired a shot in a quest to scare the mob, and hit a 15 year old boy. Shutdown protests which started on Monday are expected to continue.
