Queensland's Kuranda Koala Gardens, located in the heart of the Kuranda rainforest village, offers a charming experience focused on iconic Australian wildlife. Renowned for being one of the few places to cuddle a koala, the park also features free-roaming kangaroos, wallabies, wombats, and a nocturnal wonders exhibit. We enjoyed our visit to the Koala Gardens to see koalas doing what they do best... eating, sleeping and looking adorable. We had our pictures taken holding a koala and toured the grounds which housed kangaroos, wombats and a crocodile pond.
