His audits have consistently strengthened transparency, corrected unaccounted liabilities, led to policy revisions, improved accounting practices, enhanced compliance and resulted in significant recoveries and adjustments in statutory audit reports. Ajay has evaluated high-value CPSE projects over ₹500 crore, ensured prudent fund deployment, identified systemic risks and steered audit teams nationwide from planning to execution. His expertise extends to AI-driven audit modernisation, using automation to improve accuracy, compliance (Ind AS), risk identification and efficiency across finance, industry and power sectors.

Beyond fieldwork, Ajay has deeply influenced governance at the national level by representing the C&AG in deliberations with Parliamentary Committees (PAC, COPU) and vetting audit reports headed for Parliament—translating complex findings into strategic, actionable insights for top decision-makers.
