Quietly resting between Queen Street and the hill that houses the St. Anthony’s Chapel Ruins dating from the 1100s, this initially unassuming lane of trees opens up into the spectacular St. Margaret’s Loch, next to which Holyrood Parkrun starts. The clockwise run finishes after a short run under the towering Arthur’s Seat, with the Holyrood Palace welcoming you home.
What is Parkrun? It’s a free weekly timed event run by Volunteers in over 3000 towns and cities in 22 Countries. You don’t need to register to participate; you can just turn up. However, you need a barcode to enable event time tracking. To obtain the barcode, you need to register.
