2. You will be enchanted by the beautiful forest that you run through for the entirety of the course
3. The run will make up for all the Stroopwafels that you will eat when in Amsterdam

Tips:

1. Getting there: It takes about 40mins to get to the event from the Amsterdam CBD using public transport
2. Course surface: A mix between some bitumen, but mostly on flat, seemingly well-maintained trail with no gravel
3. Keep an eye on the weather a few days before the event to see if you can expect muddy conditions
4. Join their Facebook page so that you will know if the event is cancelled due to snow etc.

Hello, Anna here! Although I ended the run in tears as I got lost in a massive forest, I found the finish line in the end! Given that I was quite distressed and had my imagination running away with me straight towards an imminent blair witch situation (lol!), I didn't film the finish bit, which I regret now! I was just so happy to finish so we could head off as we had many other tourist things booked for the day!

Apparently "turning right with confidence" meant I was not directed as a Parkrunner and looked like I knew exactly where I was going. This comment has made us laugh endlessly since that day, so thank you to whichever volunteer said that on the day!

We highly recommend this beautiful race in any season. We hope to make it back there some day to enjoy the park in full summer splendour.
