Описание: The story of Hercules and the cattle of Geryon tells of one of the most famous labors of the Greek hero Hercules, who was ordered to travel to the far western lands to capture the magnificent red cattle belonging to the giant Geryon. There Hercules faced many dangers, including the monstrous two-headed dog Orthrus and the giant herdsman Eurytion before finally confronting Geryon himself, a powerful being often described as having three bodies. After defeating Geryon in battle, Hercules drove the cattle back across long and dangerous roads toward Greece, turning the journey into one of the longest and most adventurous travels in Greek mythology.
