Описание: Hike 51 – Quartz Mine Loop | Phoenix, AZ

We’re back on the trail for Hike 51 of our 52 Hike Challenge, and this one might be small in mileage but BIG in views.

This time we tackled the Quartz Mine & Parking Lot Connector Loop right here in the Phoenix area. The full hike — including the summit — came out to about 1.5 miles, making it the perfect short but spicy workout.

With the sun shining, minimal clouds, and a cool 59° morning, it was classic Phoenix hiking weather. The kind that reminds you why winter in the desert just hits differently.

As the name suggests, this trail features remnants of historic mining operations, exposed quartz veins, and rugged desert rock formations. It’s a beautiful reminder of Arizona’s mining history mixed with some solid elevation to get your heart rate up.

If you're looking for a quick hike with views, history, and a little climb — this one is absolutely worth checking out.
