BEGINNER RUNNING VLOG
✍️ Today’s Run Note
My pace changes with the temperature,
and my mood changes with my pace.
During the winter, it was so cold that I had no choice but to run very slowly.
Running slow gave me space to talk to myself, to reflect, almost like moving meditation.
But without that spark of dopamine and adrenaline, the run often felt dull and heavy.
Some days, it honestly felt like I was fighting against myself just to keep going.
As the temperature rises, I can finally pick up the pace.
And when the pace rises, so does my energy.
Dopamine and adrenaline start flowing more freely, and suddenly my head fills with positive thoughts.
Running becomes fun again - not something I have to endure, but something I get to enjoy.
Winter is slowly fading, and spring is on its way.
Looking back, I think I endured this past winter pretty well.
Maybe the slow miles were building something deeper than speed.
