Prana is the King - Body is sustained by Prana. Ida, Pingala, and Sushumna

There are said to be 8.4 million species of living beings. Of these:
• 2.1 million are Andaja — egg-born beings, such as birds and reptiles.
• 2.1 million are Svedaja — beings said to arise from moisture or decay, traditionally described as lice, worms, and similar organisms.
• 2.1 million are Udbhijja — those that sprout from the ground, such as plants and trees.
• The remaining 2.1 million are Jarāyuja (Garbha-ja) — beings born from the womb, such as animals and humans.

Among these 8.4 million species, only human beings possess the capacity to reflect upon purpose of life and work towards inner enrichment for freedom. Therefore, do not waste this rare opportunity of being born as a human. While you are healthy and capable, think about the rare opportunity to excel. Engage in sādhanā now — not later.
The Garuda Purana says that the default destination of an unexamined life is Yama Puri — Yama Loka. If we wish to attain higher divine realms, we must prepare in advance through conscious effort and spiritual discipline.
Do not postpone sādhanā to old age. Waiting until the last moment is like digging a well when the house is already on fire. Take care of the body, for it is the vehicle for sādhanā. Use it wisely so that this precious opportunity is not lost.
Human birth is rare and sacred. To waste it through negligence or self-harm is considered a grave spiritual loss. The scriptures strongly discourage suicide, teaching that it disrupts the natural journey of the soul and forfeits this precious chance for spiritual progress.
Prāṇa – the CEO of the Body
Prāṇa is the CEO of this body. As long as this CEO is present, the body is alive. This bis mentioned in The Prashna Upanishad describes an episode in which the presiding deities of the senses began arguing about who was the most important in the body.
The Sun, presiding over the eyes, claimed he was the most important. To test this, he left the body. The person became blind, but the body was still alive.
Then the Moon, presiding over the ears, left. The person became deaf, yet he remained alive.
Indra, presiding over the hands and strength of the body, left. The person became immobile, but life continued.
