Iceland's Blue Lagoon is definitely a spot you should come and visit if you take a trip to Iceland. Its about a 45 minute drive from Reykjavik and the beauty that surrounds this place is pretty amazing.
We had a little extra of that beauty sprinkled on top for us in the form of snow, it was about 10-15 ºF outside and in the water is about 99-102 ºF.
If you wear contacts then you should be fine as long as you don't get any of the algae mask or water into your eyes, and be sure to use the conditioner and leave it on before you get into the lagoon.
